    Day 1: Arrival - Litochoro

    Arrival at Litochoro and overnight in a cosy guesthouse.

    Day 2: GORTZIA – MUSES PLATEAU

    An impressive walk at the North side of Mt. Olympus awaits us. We start uphilling the dense forest and soon the first views to the sea and the high alpine peaks will give us a chance to make a beautiful break. The refuge of Petrostrouga is a perfect balcony towards the sea. After our lunch we continue to the high alpine terrain and reaching the Muses plateau we have a great view to the throne of Zeus, the peak Stefani. Overnight at the refuge.

    Day 3: REFUGE - PEAKS OF Mt.OLYMPUS – REFUGE A:

    Today our course will be the impressive conquest of the most famous peaks of the mountain of Gods “Olympus” to a limit of 2.911 meters. Then we hike under the impressive high cliffs of Mitikas (2918m) and Stefani (2909m) towards the plateau of the Muses, and overnight in refuge A the first refuge to be built on Mt. Olympus.

    Day 4: REFUGE A - MONASTERY

    A chance to finish the hike by the majestic Enipeas river, and enjoy a forest walk after we spend 2 days on the high mountains! Mostly downhilling we leave the refuge, and hike to Prionia where we have a nice lunch. Continuing now by the river we have the chance to swim and finish the hike at the historic monastery of Ag. Dionisios.
